I adore everything about this bedroom. It appears to be a blank canvas of neutral and white, but when even a wee bit of color is introduced, it brings the design to life. The vintage dress form and bed pillow are used to marry all elements and unify the look.
I have such a soft spot for monograms and this chair really touches my heart. Look how darling the "ballet slipper" ties look wrapped around the chair legs.
Imagine how cozy it would feel to relax in this comfy family living area. Slipcovered furniture pieces make it easy to freshen the look. I love the white slipcovers and would only remove them for laundering. If you wanted a bit of color, I like to introduce pale shades of seasonal colors in my accessories and change them out every few months. This keeps your rooms looking fresh while still maintaining the "AVW style".
We would love to hear comments about how you live the "a vintage white style".

I LOVE the bedroom! Beautiful! Thank you for sharing!

I had always admired these rooms in the magazine. I love white and I can never get sick of it. Living with white and not even adding adding any other color would suit me just fine. Her rooms are very inspirational!
Take Care-
Sandra,
I too could live so comfortably in any of her rooms. I am so glad that you enjoyed the post.

Alison,
I think I may make her bedroom and living room my "happy place" where I go in my mind to relax.

Hi Trish,
Love this post. Such dreamy rooms & I love love the huge french mirror in the dining room! Always nice to stop by & see your posts!
White is so clean and crisp -- I love it when it is mixed with cobalt blue especially. After my parents passed I inherited an antique bedroom set that the veneer was coming off of. Once we fixed the broken spots with putty I painted it white and I LOVE it! Good luck on this new adventure!
Trisha,
I am positively swooning over all these beautiful pictures. I love it all and could easily move in to any one.
Hugs,

So beautiful! I my dining room looked like that photo, I would cook more often (maybe!) Just found your blog and glad I did.
I just purchased six dining chairs that I would like to cover with white slip covers. Any idea where I may find some covers?
